Unsealed concrete is conductive because it holds moisture, so it works. Sealed or painted concrete, asphalt, wood and most indoor flooring are insulators and won't conduct. Grass, soil, sand and stone all conduct.

Small peer-reviewed studies have explored grounding's links to sleep, inflammation markers and recovery. The findings are promising but early — we link every source on our Science page so you can judge for yourself. These shoes are not a medical device and aren't intended to diagnose, treat or cure any condition.

Our shoes run true to size and the toe box is roomy by design. Measure your foot in cm and pick the size whose insole is just above it. Every size covers a half-size range, so there is no need to round up. A full size chart is on every product page.

Exchanges are free within the 30-day trial. Wear them, test them, and if the fit isn't right we'll swap the size at no cost to you.

Full-grain leather ages beautifully. Wipe with a damp cloth, let it air-dry away from direct heat, and condition occasionally. Avoid machine washing.

Light rain is fine — full-grain leather is naturally water-resistant. Let them dry naturally afterward. We don't recommend submerging them or wearing them through heavy downpours for long stretches.

Every pair is conductivity-tested before it ships and comes with its own test card. You can also verify at home with the Grounding Test Kit or a basic multimeter.
